AWLC Premier Annual Fundraiser
For 16 years La Noche de Música y Arte, (NdMyA) has been the AWL´s annual fundraising event, generally held in October, whose proceeds benefit institutions involved in the improvement of education in Peru through the AWLC Education Fund.
For the past several years we have had the generous support of the Colegio Franklin D. Roosevelt in the form of the loan of their beautiful, world-class Performing Arts Theater (PAC) for the gala evening.
The event also includes an art exhibit and sale by renowned as well as modern and emerging artists from Perú; 50% of the sale of art is donated to the AWLC Education Fund. Attendees have enjoyed viewing the exhibit before the concert with a glass of champagne and purchasing their art afterwards during the pleasant wine and hors
d'oeuvres reception.
The event is organized entirely by AWLC member-volunteers, over the space of one year. This team of volunteers procures and designs a uniquely Peruvian art exhibit. Many generous sponsors have made this possible throughout the years, including our annual contributors:

Throughout the 16 years the event has evolved and grown allowing us to increase the financial aide we contribute to support students of the INPM (National Pedagogical Institute of Monterrico), and the donations to Enseña Peru and their teaching programs in remote and underprivileged areas of Perú.
Since 2016 we have awarded over 15 small grants to small non-profit organizations dedicated to issues related to education, which has allowed them to increase the number of students who benefit from their programs in their local communities.
