To provide intellectual and cultural exchange between U.S. citizens and other English-speaking women of diverse backgrounds and interests in an atmosphere of friendship.
Vision: We are a community of women committed to educational advancement, social services and mutual support.
"I love the camaraderie, diversity, intellectual stimulation and opportunities to
forge new friendships as well as to serve."
AWLC originally the American Women's Literary Club began in 1922 by a small group of women who were interested in literature.
Several new groups have developed as a result of bringing like-minded women together - ranging widely from gardening and flower arranging, to music and theater, as well as civic and philanthropic activities and support for educational projects
Follow what we are up to!
Since we are a big group of diverse and talented women we share different interests.
We have special outings, book clubs, art appreciation and much more!
In AWLC we firmly believe in giving back.
